Palhaços do Meridiano is an artistic and relational intervention project that brings clown caregivers to homes and institutions, with the aim of promoting emotional well-being, combating social isolation and humanizing care for the elderly. Through regular visits, music, theater games and sensitive interactions, the project creates spaces for listening, joy and emotional expression, with special attention to people with dementia. The presence of the clown — a figure of empathy, lightness and affection — transforms the daily lives of the elderly, but also positively impacts caregivers and families, strengthening bonds and promoting a more humane, creative and sensitive culture of care.
